Hello,
My Lab/Akita beast is a great family pet. Our frustration is that he will return upon command while off leash only when he chooses to do so. A squirrel or cat is much more important than any treat or praise we offer. I've recently considered shock collar training yet it seems inhumane and risky due to the fact that water is a regular part of our environment. He gets walks twice a day and visits a leash free dog park 2-3 times a week. Any advice?
